Also if you embark on a crash diet when you also have a very low level of lean tissue - because you have a lot more fat than muscle - then even everyday tasks can cause you to feel extremely fatigued. This is because your muscles, store your short-term 'energy supplies' in the form of Glycogen. Therefore less muscle = less energy.

 No Quick Fix

As you can see, quick weight loss diets are no quick fix. But this will not stop the slimming and dieting industry from making millions by promoting dieting as the short cut to a healthy lifestyle with fast weight loss and the minimum amount of effort.
